Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) is Western Australia’s largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, delivering culturally responsive healthcare to more than 20,000 people across Perth. With a deep commitment to community, DYHS strengthens connections, supports wellbeing, and champions accessible, respectful, and holistic care. We were honoured to supply furniture for DYHS in their new Midland health centre.
A stand out aspect of this fit out was the upholstery selection. Upholstery selected was from Materialised’s Jimmy Pike collection, featuring patterns inspired by the Great Sandy Desert and Aboriginal cultural storytelling. Printed on durable Crypton material, it brings warm, earthy tones and visual texture to the space, combining cultural significance with practicality for a high‑traffic health centre.
