The most sought after Office Desk in Australia…
Another day, another custodian of the Prime Minister’s desk.
The current desk has seen the beginning and end of 5 Prime Minister’s aspirations in the very short space of 5 years.
To put this in perspective the previous desk (currently residing in the Museum of Australian Democracy) served 14 PM’s over a 45 year period. It actually reappeared briefly when John Howard brought it back into service whilst in office (1996 – 2007).
